Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These Terms of Service govern use of SeaTime Logbook (“SeaTime”), a Google Sheets-based tool for recording and organizing maritime work-hour information.
Personal recordkeeping tool
SeaTime is provided as a recordkeeping and organizational tool. Users are responsible for reviewing their entries and confirming that records submitted to an employer, union, licensing authority, government agency, or other organization are accurate and meet that organization's requirements.
No official certification
SeaTime does not itself certify sea service, employment, union status, eligibility, licensing qualifications, wages, or other official records. Reports generated by SeaTime should be independently reviewed before submission for official purposes.
User responsibility
Users are responsible for maintaining access to their Google account, controlling sharing permissions for their spreadsheet, keeping appropriate backups, and protecting any personal or employment information they enter.
Availability
SeaTime is provided on an as-available basis. Features may be updated, corrected, or changed over time. Functionality may also depend on Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, and other third-party services outside the developer's control.
Acceptable use
Users may use SeaTime for lawful personal or professional recordkeeping. Users should not attempt to use the application to gain unauthorized access to another person's files or Google account.
Privacy
SeaTime's handling of Google user data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
These terms may be updated as SeaTime evolves. The current version will be posted on this page.
